The AIPM Delivery Framework

Five stages, deliberately sequenced. Each one has to leave the estate more capable than it found it — and the final stage exists to remove your dependence on us.

0

Sequenced stages

Diagnose, Design, Deploy, Govern, Scale.

0wk

Typical diagnostic

Evidence base and costed roadmap before commitment.

0wk

To a governed pilot

Live delivery, instrumented, measured against baseline.

0

Exit plan, from day one

Capability transfer is a deliverable, not an afterthought.

Diagnose 01

Diagnose

01

Establish the evidence base before anything is committed.

We baseline delivery performance, data quality, governance maturity and capability. The output is a defensible picture of where value is being lost and which constraints are genuinely binding.

  • Delivery performance baseline
  • AI readiness scorecard
  • Constraint and value-loss map

Design

02

Design the target model, the controls and the sequence together.

Operating model, data architecture and governance are designed as one artefact. Sequencing is deliberate: each stage has to leave the estate more capable than it found it.

  • Target operating model
  • Governance and control design
  • Staged transformation roadmap

Deploy

03

Prove value on a real portfolio, not a sandbox.

We stand up the first use cases inside live delivery with instrumentation from day one, so value is measured against the baseline rather than asserted.

  • Governed pilot use cases
  • Instrumented reporting layer
  • Measured value against baseline

Govern

04

Make model-assisted decisions explainable and accountable.

Assurance, escalation and documentation are embedded into existing stage gates rather than bolted alongside them, so governance holds under audit and under pressure.

  • Assurance and audit framework
  • Escalation thresholds
  • Responsible-AI documentation set

Scale

05

Transfer capability so the change outlives the engagement.

We scale proven use cases across the portfolio and deliberately transfer ownership — enablement, playbooks and a capability plan that removes dependence on us.

  • Portfolio-wide rollout plan
  • Internal capability transfer
  • Continuous improvement cadence

How we work

Four non-negotiables

These hold whether the engagement is a six-week diagnostic or an eighteen-month transformation. They are the reason we occasionally recommend doing nothing yet.

Governance before scale

We will not scale a capability the organisation cannot yet explain, evidence or audit. Control design ships with the deployment, not after it.

Evidence over assertion

Every recommendation is traceable to a baseline. If we cannot measure the change against the position we started from, we do not claim it.

Capability transfer by design

The engagement is structured to end. Playbooks, enablement and ownership handover are deliverables, not goodwill.

Method-agnostic, outcome-led

Agile, hybrid or predictive — the method serves the outcome. We work inside the delivery model you already run.

Method-agnostic

We work inside the delivery model you already run.

The agile-versus-waterfall argument is largely settled in practice — most enterprises run both. What remains unsettled is whether the two produce comparable signal at portfolio level. That is the problem worth solving, and it is the one we solve.

Agile estates

Flow, throughput and dependency signal, instrumented without adding ceremony teams will not sustain.

Predictive estates

Stage-gate assurance targeted by risk rather than applied uniformly to everything.

Hybrid estates

One portfolio data model that both sides resolve into, so the numbers reconcile.

Questions

Before you ask

No. Most enterprises overestimate what is required to start. The readiness assessment establishes what your existing delivery data can already support, and the remediation plan sequences the rest by cost and blocking impact.

A diagnostic typically runs four to six weeks. A governed pilot inside live delivery is a twelve-week target from engagement start, measured against the baseline established in the diagnostic.

Rarely. The default approach is to make the existing estate produce better signal. Tooling change is recommended only where the current stack demonstrably blocks the outcome.

Controls are embedded into the delivery lifecycle rather than maintained as a parallel policy document, with documentation standards aligned to emerging regulatory expectations and reviewed as those expectations move.

Agile, hybrid and predictive. The framework is method-agnostic — what matters is that each method produces comparable signal at portfolio level.

Engagements are scoped after a no-obligation discovery conversation. Pricing is fixed-scope for diagnostics and milestone-based for transformation work, so cost is tied to delivered artefacts.

Start with stage one

Every engagement begins with evidence.

A diagnostic gives you a defensible baseline and a costed roadmap — useful whether or not you continue with us.
